On its way, OK ?
The existing library(ies) on aminet is(are) a tad slow and
wierd for my liking, I'd prefer to be able to use an amos screen,
or at least a new amos screen. Hmm, maybe gui & 3d together might
work. Still probably too slow. Grr.
I'll be releasing when I get something that runs "respectably"
fast on my 68060.
Either that, or get one of the 3D libraries of the aminet. All
the ones I can get to work are really quite slow.
Expect something that does more than just objects, and also less
than objects, and is different from most 3D's you've seen. Also
expect it to use c2p or something similar that (hopefully) doesn't
care how many colours you are using. Also expect a wierd hybrid
of amos, C, lib calls, and hopefully some asm.
I have enough source and examples (&skills!) to come up with
something quite respectable, as soon as I get enough time.
I know its been done so many times, but yes, I do have to reinvent
the wheel, yet again. Grrr. At least most of the hard stuff has
been done, and I'm not starting completely from scratch.
What sort of object/coordinate system does everyone like, I wanna
make it as usefull as possible.
Anyone care to donate an object editor ?
